Industrial Value through Waste Transformation

Carbon-neutral chemical solutions for agriculture, energy, and manufacturing
ABOUT THG

Breakthrough Solutions for Agriculture and Industry

THG develops scalable chemical engineering solutions for circular economies. Founded to address the rising demand for sustainable fertilizer and industrial chemicals, we’re working to transform widely available waste streams into profitable, carbon-neutral products.

Innovation-Driven, Real World Impact

Upcycling Waste into High-Value Commodities

THG's proprietary thermal activated process converts biomass and waste plastics into fertilizer, a stable hydrogen carrier, and other carbon-neutral industrial products.

Carbon-Neutral Manufacturing

A new production pathway delivering zero CO₂ emissions through closed-loop calcium processing.

Capital-Efficient Deployment

Technology transfer in first-to market adoption enables partners to integrate THG processes using existing industrial infrastructure, minimizing infrastructure costs for facility upgrades.

Multi-Billion Dollar Markets

Addressable opportunities across fertilizer, hydrogen, biochar, and carbon credits markets

Upcycling Waste into High-Value Commodities

THG's proprietary thermal activated process converts biomass and waste plastics into fertilizer, a stable hydrogen carrier, and other carbon-neutral industrial products.
The Process

Our feedstock-agnostic platform blends hydrocarbon-rich waste with calcium oxide to yield calcium carbide. Nitrogen introduction produces calcium cyanamide and elemental carbon. The cyanamide is then hydrolyzed to create cyanoguanidine (CG) and other valuable compounds, with the initial calcium oxide component completely recycled for reuse.

Key Advantages

Operates at lower temperatures than conventional methods, reducing energy costs

Direct, end-to-end production eliminates complex processing chains

Modular design allows regional deployment at waste sources

THG patents address a critical challenge: By transforming waste liabilities into profit centers, THG enables industrial partners to capture value while supporting decarbonization mandates.
Applications & Use Cases

Cross-Sector Solutions for Modern Industry – Technology in Development

Agriculture & Fertilizer Production

Slow-release nitrogen fertilizers and calcium cyanamide provide carbon-neutral alternatives to methane-intensive ammonia products. Cyanoguanidine offers dual functionality as both fertilizer and hydrogen carrier, reducing nitrate runoff while improving soil health.

  • The global fertilizer market presents immediate adoption opportunities for producers seeking low-carbon inputs.

Energy & Hydrogen Infrastructure

Cyanoguanidine functions as an exceptionally safe hydrogen carrier – non-toxic, non-flammable, and transportable via standard carriers without specialized infrastructure. CG solves a critical logistics challenge, enabling decentralized hydrogen release on demand.

  • Applications include fuel cells, refueling stations for hydrogen-powered vessels, and bulk industrial hydrogen supply.
Why THG.

Technical Superiority Meets Market Readiness

Robust Intellectual Property

Four patent families provide comprehensive protection:

  • Fertilizer production from cyanamide compounds
  • Reduced-carbon material recycling
  • Waste plastic upcycling
  • Hydrocarbon gas purification

Unmatched Safety Profile
Cyanoguanidine carries a hazard classification equivalent to table salt – eliminating transport risks, insurance costs, and regulatory complexity associated with ammonia or pressurized hydrogen. This enables distribution through standard logistics networks and storage without specialized containment, also expanding decentralized production options.
